Here at McCarty’s, you’ll always be family.
Over 100 Years of Business.
Have you ever walked into a place and felt right at home? That is often the experience of a McCarty’s Jewelry customer. One of our favorite stories is when a customer in her 80’s walked into our store. She was surprised and delighted that we were still open. “I used to shop here as a little girl for something for my grandmother,” she told our team member. Her and her husband had moved out of the area many years ago. She bought a few things that day just so she could bring our boxes back to all of her family and say, “Look where I shopped today!”
Over the years, we have proudly served the residents of Long Beach and Southern California and experienced many happy moments with our customers. It never ceases to amaze us - the stories that we hear from our customers. As the oldest named jewelry store in Southern California, McCarty’s Jewelry is carrying on the legacy of fun and family that Victor and Marie McCarty began over 100 years ago.
Same name since 1923.

Customer Reviews
Great experience! I was able to get a beautiful custom wedding band and resizing for my husband, hassle and stress free in immaculate timing! Note - My experience was hybrid; online consult with in person pickup. Communication was clear and effective the entire time and staff was nice and celebratory with great customer service! McCarty's helped save my wedding day and allowed my husband to have a custom piece he loves!

Very knowledgeable, communicative, skilled. and I think reasonably priced. They helped us save an old gold bracelet by reconstructing it and giving us a credit for existing gold that needed replacement. We will be back. Everything we got back was beautifully repaired.

Amazing work! Thank you for everything! I will only trust McCarty's on 2nd with my jewelry. My priceless piece of jewelry.

The staff is lovely. Everyone asked if we wanted to see anything or needed assistance in anyway. Had my necklace cleaned — I can honestly say I have never seen my necklace shine so brilliantly. Thanks for the complimentary cleaning, was a great opportunity to see the jewelry selection.

While I didn't buy anything here, I wanted to leave a 5/5 review for service received while inquiring about repair of a broken clasp on a bracelet. The gentleman at the front desk took a look at it and was able to fix it on the spot in just a few minutes. He explained the issue to me in a clear way, as well as the expected life span of the clasp if it were to happen again in the future. He was extremely nice, helpful, and very knowledgeable / experienced. If I have jewelry needs in the future, I will definitely return here first.
